§ 1 — Who We Are

DR:WORKSPACE is developed and maintained by DR Studio. References to "we", "us", or "our" throughout this policy mean DR Studio / DR:WORKSPACE. We are the data controller for the personal information you provide when using our service.

§ 2 — What Data We Collect

We collect only what we need to provide the service:

• Account information — your name and email address when you sign up;
• Content you create — presentations, documents, and spreadsheets you make and save in the app;
• Usage data — basic information about how you use the app (such as features used and frequency of access) to help us improve the product;
• Device & technical data — browser type, operating system, and IP address for security and performance purposes;
• Communications — messages you send us via the in-app bug report or help features.

We do not collect payment information — we do not currently process payments directly through the platform.

§ 3 — How We Use Your Data

We use the data we collect to:

• Create and manage your account;
• Save and sync your work across sessions and devices;
• Respond to support requests and bug reports;
• Improve and develop the platform;
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security issues;
• Comply with our legal obligations.

We do not use your data for advertising and we do not build advertising profiles.

§ 4 — How We Store Your Data

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard cloud infrastructure. We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, loss, or destruction.

Data may be stored on servers located outside the UK or EEA. Where this is the case, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in line with UK GDPR requirements.

§ 5 — Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share your data only where strictly necessary to operate the service — with our cloud infrastructure and authentication provider. All third-party providers we use are contractually bound to protect your data and process it only for the purposes we specify.

We may also disclose your data if required to do so by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of DR:WORKSPACE, our users, or others.

§ 6 — Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you;
• Correct any inaccurate data;
• Delete your account and associated data;
• Restrict or object to how we process your data;
• Data portability — receive your data in a portable format;
• Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, please use the in-app settings or contact us via the help feature. We will respond within 30 days.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you are unhappy with how we handle your data.

§ 7 — Data Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal reasons.

Content you have shared with others (such as presentations shared via link) may persist until explicitly removed.

§ 8 — Children

DR:WORKSPACE is intended for users aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will delete it promptly.

§ 9 — Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes via the app. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect when the most recent changes were made.
