Terms and Conditions of Service

Version: 1.0  ·  Effective: 20 March 2026  ·  Last Updated: 25 June 2026  ·  Governing Law: England & Wales

§ 1 — Who We Are

DR:WORKSPACE ("we", "us", "our") is an online productivity platform providing tools for creating presentations, documents, and spreadsheets. The service is available at drworkspace.com and is developed and maintained by DR Studio.

§ 2 — Accepting These Terms

By creating an account or using DR:WORKSPACE, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll let you know. Continuing to use the service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

The service is intended for users aged 13 and over.

§ 3 — Your Account

To use DR:WORKSPACE you need to create an account. You are responsible for:

The service is not available to users who have previously been banned or removed from DR:WORKSPACE for violating these Terms.

§ 4 — Acceptable Use

You agree not to use DR:WORKSPACE to:

We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that violate these rules.

§ 5 — Pricing & Premium Features

DR:WORKSPACE is currently free to use. We plan to introduce premium features in the future — when we do, we'll give you reasonable notice before anything you currently use becomes paid-only.

Some premium features may be unlocked early through promo codes, distributed via sponsorships, partnerships, or promotional campaigns. If you have a valid promo code, you can redeem it in your account settings to unlock the relevant features. Promo codes are non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash, and may have expiry dates.

We do not currently process payments directly through the platform. Until a payment system is live, all premium access is granted exclusively through promo codes. We'll update these Terms when paid plans launch.

§ 6 — Your Content

You retain ownership of everything you create on DR:WORKSPACE — your presentations, documents, and spreadsheets are yours.

By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to store and process your content solely to provide the service to you. We do not use your content for advertising or share it with third parties beyond what is necessary to run the platform.

You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate these Terms or any applicable law.

§ 7 — Intellectual Property

The DR:WORKSPACE name, logo, design, and underlying software are owned by DR Studio. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute them without our written permission.

§ 8 — Availability & Changes

We aim to keep DR:WORKSPACE running smoothly, but we cannot guarantee the service will always be available without interruption. Maintenance, updates, or circumstances outside our control may occasionally cause downtime.

We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue features of the service. We'll try to give notice of significant changes where possible.

§ 9 — Limitation of Liability

DR:WORKSPACE is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the service — such as loss of data, loss of business, or loss of profits.

If we are ever found liable for something, our total liability to you shall not exceed £50. This cap reflects the fact that DR:WORKSPACE is currently a free service — it's a standard clause in free platform terms to set a reasonable upper limit, not a suggestion that anything serious is expected to happen.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded under English law. This is a required legal statement and has no bearing on the nature of the service itself.

§ 10 — Termination

You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the issue.

On termination, your content may be deleted from our servers. We recommend exporting anything important before closing your account.

§ 11 — Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
